Panoramas

I have three monitors on my computer, and I've been extremely frustrated at the lack of decent high resolution multimonitor wallpaper available on the Internet. Here are a few that I've created for myself over the past few years.

WARNING!, the original panoramics are upwards of 10,000 pixels in size. For previewing, I suggest you set your viewer to Large.

I've had a digital camera for about three years now. Images here are displayed chronologically. You can see how I progress from simple panoramas to multi-row stitched-images, or mosaics. The difference between a multi-row mosaic and a normal photo are (1) increased resolution and detail, and sometimes (2) wide angles. Most images here are reduced to 50%, sometimes 25% original resolution. Most mosaics here have detail rivaling medium-format cameras, a few rival large-format cameras.

Thanks for the kind comments. It's tough leaving the high-res images on here because that means less photos of other things or I increase my account storage, but I strongly believe in high-quality multimon wallpaper for all.

The background that I have on my computer setup, ironically, is not mine but a shot from the space shuttle . Occasionally you find some real gems there .

Thank you very much for posting your full-size panoramic pics on this gallery. It's next to impossible to find dual-monitor backgrounds (I found one site, and I can't find it now), and I'm very happy to have found yours.

Your computer setup looks hot! Where can I get *that* background?

A big THANK YOU for sharing these great shots at high resolution.

I just got a dual-monitor setup and was quite surprised at how difficult it is to find desktop wallpapers that are large enough to fit the screens.

And then I found your gallery.

You've got a great collection of really wonderful shots. Not just photos at high resolution for high resolution's sake, but shots truly worthy of every pixel it occupies! I'm getting a little carried away, but am truly grateful for your willingness to share these precious art.
