They blend in so well with the mulch, that they're a bit hard to see..
So I've "highlighted" them! :-D
but I'm not smiling.. the effectiveness of the sparrow-deterrent lasted just a few days..
At least it slows them down - there are only 5 on the feeder at this shot..
and some do come up to the wires and veer away, but the neighbor's mulberry is placed 'just right' for a dive bomb to the feeder.
sigh..
may not be feeding birds much this year..
