Bitola and Ohrid were the two main cities on the
road that leads from northern Albania to the
north of Greece through the young republic of Macedonia.

The cyrillic script is typical for this region. A special
thing in Bitola was the coexistence of orthodox,
catholic and muslim religion. Moreover, I remember
beautiful cafes, and nature-reservats with rare birds
like the european pelican in the region around Bitola.
