One of the largest craters on the moon is Clavius, situated in the southern highlands. It is about 225 kilometers across. This was taken with an Imaging Source DMK AF31 camera, a 10-inch Newtonian and a 16mm Brandon eyepiece from a suburban Milwaukee backyard. It's a combination of about 390 frames processed with Registax.
