In the old days a windmill would rise up out of the winter ground and you would know you were close to civilization. A close look to the left of the windmill at the top of the hill and you can see the new mark of civilization, a cell tower, I think I like the windmill better.

There are a lot of things that a welding shop can do in farm country. This is one of the keys to successful farming. However, one of the great things that happens in the Midwest is the community fun and celebrations! Here is one Big Yellow Bicycle made by Weirich Welding Plus which I have been told can be ridden, depending on power and phone lines. It is good to see the training wheels as that would be a long fall!

The observation tower at Mahoney State Park offers a great view of the Platte River.
