I was on my way to try and photograph a Red-winged Black Bird nest when I noticed this Great Blue Heron in this small pond at the apartment complex. I quickly turned around went back. Since it is a small park there were people out walking while I was taking photos and as a couple approached him he fly to the other side of the pond.
