Lol.. a very exhibitionistic kind of discretion, Mrs. Anonymous - in several ways.
And a wonderful picture. The petals are like hands/arms. An archetypical feminine gesture, yet in an unabashed color. The contradiction between the extrovert color and the possibly introvert gesture is absolutely fascinating. Makes the viewer wonder what happened next. I'm not sure yet to which degree it can be improved, but this deserves attention.
There is a cast, and some shadow oddity. Do you have a LCD monitor? If yes, try looking at it from a sharp sideways angle. Both the green/yellowish color and the luminance may stand out clearer then. Green isn't unusual in connection with flowers of course - the reason I think it might benefit from a little cleanup is that the green is somehow tied up to the luminance oddities.
Red is a dangerous color.. saturation levels affects the impression of luminance a lot. I played with this for an hour.. in both RGB and Lab, back and forth. Very tricky to get right without overloading the image with red or crushing details. I'll get back to you on this one. It's beginning to intrigue me to pieces.
