This is a very short series of photographs taken on the beach at Aldeburgh, a town on the east coast of England. Inspiration for the project comes from the images made by Bill Brandt for his book Literary Britain published in 1951 (Aldeburgh was the birthplace of the poet George Crabbe and the town is said to form the basis for his poems The Village and The Borough).
An example from Literary Britain is here.
The gallery includes the work prints and the edited final prints.
The work was shot on 35mm film in August 2010.
