Two-Toed Sloth In Stunt, Manuel Antonio National Park

There are many robust ropes stretched across the road in this national park, we could not understand what they were meant for until we saw this magnificient creature crossing the road. We were just lucky to have an opportunity to see sloth from just 2 (!) meters away !

I am not sure who would've suffered most while reading your absolutely hillarious and sparkling essay; Mark giving credits from bed to Georgy and Dicky, or this poor sloth being affiliated with leisury life style, while struggling in desperate attempts to cross the road and escape my merciless lens, LOL ! In any case, I was laughing my head off while reading, looking at sloth's face and building associations with your cousin, LOL !

Hello Eldar. Great photo of my nudnick cousin Mark hanging by the ropes. Of course Mark would not be at his rope's end if he had just one ounce of ambition. Mark's idea of advernture is to mentally wrestle with himself as to whether or not he is going to get out of bed in the morning; whether it is worth his while to take a trip to the bathroom or not. Of course, Mark's favorite past time is watching television from anywhere.... hanging from a rope is fine... just as long as he does not have to do anything in the proess. And naturally, Mark is a staunch Republican Nudnick... he likes George Bush and Dick Cheyney. Mark says, "I like those guys..... they like to kick butt, Iraqi butt, Mexican butt, North korean butt ... Bush is the kick butt president." You gotta like cousin Mark.... see how happy he is dangling from that rope. Nice work. Michael.

What a variety of creatures you met! ...this one is another marvellous sight, particularly in this unusual manoeuvre. Super capture.

Thank you Sandi, in fact they are so slow that all kind of vegetation grows on their fur, can you see greenish stuff on him, LOL ?!

These are amazing animals. Can't believe they survive when they move so slowly. Beautiful shot Eldar!
