Rome, - Triumph Arc of Emperor Constantine



Here the old analog image was cut off from the skies background, then moved to another digital skies image, people were erased and foreground was cloned in many spots. Then arch image was slightly blurred, saturated and enhanced via radiance filter. The same happened with the skies after which the image was flattened and voila !

Ah, Michael, I wish I was as good as you described... All I did just added the skies, otherwise this was the best arch and Colosseum image even taken by human being, LOL !

Hello Eldar. This is not only good photoshop work, but excellent compositional work as well. After having creatively superimposed L'arc de Triumphe over the Roman Colleseum, both briliantly exposed by sunlight from the same direction, you create an innerframe background of fabulously swirling clouds within a deep sultry saturated late afternnoon sky. The inner frame produced by this background, gives, what would ordinarily be a static scene, a terrific sense of intense animation. So volatile is this scene that I expect any moment to feel strong winds gushing right out of my screen, blasting me directly in my face....oh what a great wake up call. Incredibly good work.
