This was the day when people throughout the world who love old Argus cameras try to take some images to celebrate the day, it is annual, and this was the 18th.

I set forth into the day with three cameras carrying the Argus name, two with film (fresh Kodak 200 print film) and one with an SD memory card. See below for the three cameras.

I captured images at four general locations:
our front yard, the Meramec River at Valley Park, the National Museum of Transportation at Barrett Station, and the St. Louis Zoo.

Film went off to Parsons, Kansas, for wet developing. Below are my favorites from the three cameras.

By the way, the tunnel at Barrett Station was the first railroad tunnel West of the Mississippi, dug out by hand in the 1800's. It was replaced when a rock cut bypassed it just to the south, and the switching yard was given away in the 1940's to establish the Museum.
