OK, this is really near Golden Canyon, near the Manly Beacon and Zabriskie Point.
However, the strangely melted and alien physiognomy of the landscape reminds me for some reason of HR Giger, or of HP Lovecraft and his malevolent god: "In his house at R'lyeh dead Cthulhu lies dreaming."
