Dante's View

Death Valley National Park

Dante's View was named in the 1920s by some tourism promoters. The view is over a mile over the lowest spot in the valley, and gives a magnificent view of the salt pan that occupies the lowest elevations. This is a view to the north around sunset.

I like the wide open perspective.
