These are pictures of my old house in The Netherlands, town of Kerkrade. I had lived there for 24 years, gardened with a flair for subtropical plants since 1995 when I planted my first Trachycarpus and Musa.
The climate in the winter stays around -4c to 7c and is gray and rainy. But in most winters the temperatures dip to around -6c to -9c and stay shivering cold for about a week. The lowest temp in celcius has been -17c in 2009/10
Summers start around late April/early May and the temps go quickly up to around 30c, with the occasional jump to 38 - 40c.
