Leopold channel

Watervliet

The channel is situated in Watervliet a borough of Sint-Laureins(Belgium).
During WWII Canadian troops(Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders) crossed the channel in"Operation Switchback".

A nice shot of this location. There is a major road in Dayton, Ohio called Watervliet Avenue. The WWII history of this area is pretty amazing.
