I actually snuck up on that snake...

...and slowly lifted it from the bush. But it then bites me and the chase is on! Here it is on the ground.

It is a blue racer, Michigans only constrictor.

This is a blue racer, they are non-venomous, but can be extremely aggressive.

I seen a snake that looks like this one here in muskegon michigan it was dead though because someone ran it over with their car it was in the drive way going to family dollar and duthlers.

p.s. i was wondering if i see this snake agian what should i do because i have a fear of snakes and is it like the rattle snake at all and what kind is it?
