2/19/08 - Blacklight Experiment 2

Continuing with blacklight experiments to get ready for the club's March workshop.
This is a small jar (1"x2") of fluorescent green paint floating in a glass of water into which was mixed a small amount of fluorescent red paint (to see how "fluorescent water" would look). It's illuminated by a small (6"x1/2") blacklight tube (a small blacklight flashlight). In a day or so I'll switch to a pair of standard 18" long bulbs and get a bit more light on the subject. Too much set up fuss for right now until I can decide which way to go with this. Suggestions are welcome.

I'm very intrigued by this abstract, and the inventive setup!

I would like to see *just* a bit more sharpness on the top edge of the subject, before it fades into the mysterious background.

I haven't played with a black light since I was a teen, ages and ages ago. :)
