An Orton montage - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/making_montages - which is two shots of the same flower (tripod) where one is in sharp focus and one is completely out of focus to give the soft glow around the subject. My wife preferred a different shot of this flower - http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/image/80563459 - said that she's getting tired of my "cropped in the corner" signature shots. (Cropped in the camera - not afterwards.)
This is the most unique of the dahlias growing in my garden. Small and plain - without the profusion of petals normally seen on a dahlia. More like a daisy. The tiny water drop is reflecting the house siding - thought that I blocked that with a black "reflector".
