Almost caught up with PAD postings after last week's trip to the Freeman Patterson workshop (no internet, tv, newspapers, stress). Time to shift to images made here in river city since getting back.
This is a montage (one of three different types). See http://www.pbase.com/ed_k/making_montages for how montages of this type are made (basically just make two images using a tripod - one in focus and one brighter and totally out of focus). The out of focus copy provides the ethereal glow - as well as enhancing color saturation.
