I'm getting a bit old for rock scrambles - especially with 30+ pounds of camera gear on my back & in my hands. Came within a whisker of a crash landing which got my attention and made me a bit more cautious. I need some rock climbing gear with my wife tending the line - for controlled falls, especially in the Shenandoahs where things occasionally get steep (this was steeper than it looks).
