The Fremantle Doctor, as known by locals is the afternoon breeze that sweeps across the City. The wind comes in summer when the weather is very hot. This wind comes from the direction of Fremantle, south of Perth; and it’s called the Doctor because it fixes the heat……..after the wind comes in it gets very cool.
