Images from a delightful Egyptian trip, cruising the Upper Nile between Asswan and Quena. During the week, we visited the popular sites of: Edfu, Philae, Kom Ombo, Luxor's East & West banks and Dendera.

I greatly enjoyed the passing scenes of Nile-centred life. That is not to undermine the magnificent, if well attended, sites. Their mythology alone stirs most imaginations.

The intermingled cruising & site visits characterised and made this trip. I hope the gallery’s chronological presentation reflects some of that joy. The missing element is the fun shared with our dining & travel companions.
