A narrow string of land still allows access to the small islet Hovinsholmen in lake Mjøsa,
before the spring flood once again will rise the water level to it's full summer volume.
In the middle of the islet there's an ancient Viking offering ground, where the pagans sacrificed blood to their mythological Norse gods.
