Volcanic dance-floor

The north side of the main crater, where the Weyprecht glacier falls out in a rough crevassed ice-fall, directly to the sea more than 2000m below.
Already from here you can dimly perceive how steep the ice must be out there...
Observe how flat and smooth the crater floor itself is.
