The End

Finally we're sailing along Eyjafjördur into Dalvik outside Akureyri, northern Iceland, after 47 hours of prima sailing back from Jan Mayen.
Kjell Iver studies the mountains, while Morten is almost asleep on the rails.
The instruments read a total sailed distance of 1763 km (952 nm) from Iceland to Jan Mayen and back.
A slightly mellow moment actually, because an adventurous journey is soon to be over.
But the memories shall be cherished and saved forever - in our minds, in our hearts, at the bottom of our eyes... ♥

Dear Erik. Found your excellent report while surfing randomly via Google Earth in a sunny Saturday in Niterói, near Rio de Janeiro. You made my day. With your breathtaking photographs and your well written and friendly descriptions you took me with your team along this absolutely wonderful journey. Something in your report reached some deep adventurous self inside myself and probably inside every other single visitor to this site of yours. Will never forget this Saturday and, for sure, shall tweet your site, Facebook it, Google+ it and mass email it to my family and friends. My best wishes and profound admiration and respect. - Carlos Alberto Teixeira -
