Awesome job! I tried to take some pics like this -- you'll have to tell me if I suceeded (in my Starved Rock gallery!)

Beautiful image Etienne..probably my most favorite image in a collection of creative and talented work. I think Phil articulated the reason this image works so well. Beyond it's complexity is the apparent simplicity, and this balance is what makes the image so captivating.

Fantástica. Great shot. I like not only the idea but also the crop and colour.

I absolutely love this image Etienne. You've captured beautifuly the ambience of a funfair. The colours are good and the exposure is spot on. The composition is inspirational. It says so much. Well done!
Regards,
Geoff.

I agree with Phil. Nicely captured and rendered.

I liked this one the best because of its layers of meaning. We view the scene from behind three distinctly different groupings of people. At right, is the silhouette of a cluster of people, one them excitedly pointing at the moving ride. In the midde stands a silhouette of a woman holding a dog on leash. They make up the first layer of spectators. At left a young woman stands patiently with arms folded -- she is smaller in scale and because she is in color, she becomes part of, yet still stands apart from, the swiftly moving amusement ride. She is the second layer, and really the focal point of the entire picture -- our eyes go to her because she is illuminated and standing so close to the ride. The third layer is the flowing, glowing ride itself, which provides the ultimate contrast to the static and mostly one dimensional figures watching it roar past them. Your vantage point is perfect -- you cleanly separate each of the three groups of spectactors, allowing us room to peer into the scene ourselves. Congratulations, epixa, for making a remarkable image.
