I adventured off to Bali, Indonesia to spend 12 days with a few other photographers trying to capture the spirit and mysticism of Bali. My intention before I got there was to follow a few happy couples as they prepared for their very spiritual trip into matrimony. Soon I discovered that July was a bad month according to the Balinese calendar for weddings. July it turned out was a good month for cremations,so my story changed to Death. The two photographers leading our adventure were John Stanmeyer and Gary Knight, two of the founding members of VII, as well as two great guys.
