We spent two nights in Bar Harbor (Maine) and in spite of gray weather managed to get in some sightseeing in Acadia National Park. We got to the summit of Cadillac Mountain and hiked around a bit; then drove the park loop road. We enjoyed lunch at Jordan Pond House, home of memorable giant popovers and home made ice cream(!) and saw Thunder Hole, albeit weather and tide weren't thundering. We've made previous visits, so it all brought back good memories.
