This is the original version of this camera series. Ye Olde Photographer bought this body from a friend in the 1990s, just to have a mechanical body compatible with the FD lenses used on the A-1 and AE-1 cameras that also lurk about. This was a "professional" level body back when and is built like a tank. YOP finds it a bit unfriendly to use, but mayhaps he needs practice. A different focus screen might help, as there are no micro-prism spots in this one. A bit of shutter curtain bounce (or something similar) was noted in a couple of full res shots and given the probable cost of a CLA against the limited anticipated use, this body is likely going to be limited to decorating a shelf.
It was set up with the 50mm f/1.4 lens shown and loaded up with a partial roll of Kodak PX125 left from some tests a year or two back. It was carted around during Argus Day 2009 festivities, with quick releases used to swap it with the C3, on and off the tripod.
The film was developed in HC-110 "Dilution H" (1+63) which YOP uses as a one-shot.
