This was a September camping excursion with a friend, riding in a mid-1940s Jeep he had restored. It had a canvas top with open sides and was hard-pressed to exceed 45 MPH. We got as far north as Parc Gatineau in Quebec. Our return trip through central New York state maintained a long-standing Thomas Family vacation tradition by traveling through the western fringes of Hurricane Donna, one of the worst to hit the northeastern US in the early 60s. We finished off the trip by visiting a friend in Bradford County, PA, before heading home.

All of these were taken on 35mm film with an Argus C-3.
