This diagram shows how to wire a cable to connect an MC-22 cable to a Pocket Wizard receiver, so you can use a pocket wizard as a wireless shutter release for a Nikon DSLR with a 10-pin connector.
You can connect the two mini-plugs into a "plug splitter" and then into the PW receiver. Then, when you press the test button on PW transmitter, it wakes up your camera and takes a picture.
See the picture "MC-22 rig" @ http://www.pbase.com/duncanc/image/40353296 to see the setup I use with my Pocket Wizards, as well as a hard-wired shutter release I built.
