This piece was lit with 2 strobes with 60 degree reflectors fired through diffusion panels. The strobes were placed so that they created a bright spot in the middle of the panel that feathered away to black at the edges. The result is subtle, soft-edged highlights. Note how the highlights impart a soft glow to the colored enameling on the piece.
