This is an attempt to recreate the cover image from the book "The Science of Fractal Images."

The fractal itself was created using a slightly modified version of FractalWorks. (I changed it to lower the height of Mandelbrot points in the image to create the effect of water against a rocky coast.)

I added the cloudy sky in Photoshop, and also adjusted the look of the "water surface" to look more realistic.

The next image is an actual photograph of the image from the cover of the book for comparison purposes.
