I was in Columbus today and on the way home took a St. Route out of the city back to the major interstate. On these back roads, some real gems of interesting and weird colide to make the drive way more interesting than the well traveled path normally driven. I passed a Chinchilla Farm, multiple other farms, barns, burned down places and then this, todays photo. It was this wrecked old home about 1/4 mile off the main road with no trespassing signs laying in the mud so I didn't feel they were valid or being regarded very seriously. I pulled in to size up a potential Photo a Day shot. How often do you see skeletons in hunter orange hats holding signs in old homes. Never! It needed photographed right then and there. I slowly crept up the long drive, got out and shot this photo the whole time waiting to be mauled to death by zombie raccoons or dragged into the woods by Jason from Friday the 13th and Freddie Krueger both holding a bloody knifes. Creepy as can be and while traffic whizzed by down on the state route in the distance, I was as alone as could be. Originally planning on being in and out in seconds, I walked around the old shack and it's creepiness faded away to just a cool spot to take photos. Its the WTF kind of photo's that makes this photo a day keep going on and keeps me coming back...
