The magnitude 2 star Sadr highlights the red, dusty, butterfly-shaped Gamma Cyg Nebula.
Southeast of center is highlighted by the Crescent Nebula NGC6888.
Dozens of other named objects include star clusters NGC6910 and NGC6913 above and below Sadr, many dark nebulae, many emission nebulae, and small VdB reflection nebulae such as VdB133 near the bottom border center-left.
