Bogen / Manfrotto 680B Monopod with the 678 Universal Folding Base (little legs). I use the RRS recommended monopod head, http://reallyrightstuff.com/tripods/03.html, consisting of a Manfrotto 3232 swivel / tilt head and a Kirk QR clamp. This setup is perfect for hiking with a telephoto lens, including my 500mm f/4 IS.
