Technically well done, right depth setting, excellent detail and toning. This photo owns a superb balance and a powerful graphic impact. Good work.

Well Dave I thort Id better stop looking at my own stuff and check out a 'proper' photographer. I remember you saying once that you thort you weren't visual .. but now we all know different. I really like this shot cos .. whether planned or not, the parasol gives a natural softening of the light and as I said to you the radiating arms bring your eye straight in. I'm glad you stuck to your guns and cropped it rway rather than Marcus' suggestion. I think ris a much cleaner, more simple image.

What an amazing picture! The "umbrella" usually looks so feminine and yet here it adds to his wonderful expression. Nice capture!
