Liz, depends on what I am shooting. In some ways this Tamron super zoom does a better job than my Canon 24-105. It's even sharp at 300mm max. Canon is a faster lens and I believe does a better job with portraits and flowers. I love my 70D!!!

Absolutely a fantastic shot, Rosemary!

Beautiful animal and lovely bokeh. That 70D is really doing a nice job for you. I see you used a Tamron super zoom lens. How would you compare it to your Canon lenses (like the 24-105mm)as for IQ?

A gorgeous animal, and so beautifully shot, Rosemary. Every little hair shows up and the nice smooth bokeh is a great complement.

Very nice bokeh. I've only seen 3 or 4 in the wild and would like to see one close-up. This is a great shot. It shows him/her contemplating his/her next move.
