Nope - the viewing area is a raised boardwalk kind of thing, and the hillside of their habitat goes up from there. Totally open viewing - but sometimes they are at the top of the hill at the very back and not so very visible. I was fortunate on the day of the baby shot that the baboons were down closer to the viewing. :)

What a great capture. Mom looks like she's watching out for the little one to make sure nothing disturbs it while it sleeps.
