The seafood in and around Jekyll Island is supposed
to be the sweetest in the world because of all the
marshland nutrients that go into the ocean. I'm
not sure if I could tell the difference,
but the others said they could.
We were hoping to find seafood shops where we could
buy it uncooked, then prepare it ourselves at the
villa. There's just not much on island, and we
never really had the opportunity to go into
Brunswick on a seafood expedition. So our
last night on vacation at the ocean was
our first night for real seafood.
Wes wore his hat at the table, too.
