A farmer told me the other week that she was highly embarrassed to have a wheatfield so emblazoned with poppies, as it was a stark testimony to other farmers that she was not on top of the weeding.
If that's a weakness, then talk about God making such strength from it. I don't know whether such a profusion means a disastrous impact on a farmer in terms of income..and I wonder if such a riot of beauty is considered compensation...?
