Eight century BC figurine found near the road to Masyaf. Seated figure in bronze coated with gold leaf and with lapis lazuli inserts for the eyes. The tiara and horned crown are symbols of a deity.
The picture was used in February 2015 by the BBC, in an article on their website concerning Syrian art being sold by IS.
