As the two are part of one complex I put them together. One was a mosque, the other a bazaar almost attached to it. The bazaar used to house butchers, but now houses less gory activities. To the east of Hashimiye Square, built in the 18th century as a Mevlevi Lodge for Urfa Mevlevis, there are a mosque and other buildings. After the closure of the lodges, the bazaar adjacent to the west side of the building was the Butchers' Bazaar, later converted into a bazaar where souvenirs and sold after expropriation. There are other activities, like watch repair.
