We are here at the grave of Çandarlı Ibrahim Paşa, who was a kadı at Iznik, and later rose to the rank of Grand Vizier (1421). When he died in 1429 he was buried here. The monument is some 100 meters from the Lefke Gate, turning towards the heart of town.
