This is the Surp Reşdagabet, which has been in the possession of the Armenian community since 1629. The present church is 18th century and stands where formerly was a church dedicated to the Taxiarch Saints or Archangel Michael and Gabriel as chiefs (taxiarchoi) of the celestial militia (from: Strolling through Istanbul, Redhouse). As usual I found it closed.
