Heading back towards the waterfront I passed this fountain. It was being restored, but already (or still?) looks great. As a matter of fact I have, over the last few years, seen a great number of these small monuments being restored to their former splendor, in Istanbul as well as in other cities. Straight after restoration they look a bit too new, but they will mature, and greatly contribute to the charm of walking those old streets.
