Base of the monument dedicated to a charioteer, Porphirios, erected by the Blue party on the spina of the hippodrome, 6th century AD. Detail.
Found (excavated) in the second courtyard of the Topkapı Palace.
The inscription mentions emperor Anastasius (491-518) as initiator of the monument.
