To the left is a monument for Mimar Sinan, the famous architect whose best works can be seen in Istanbul (Süleymaniye and many other mosques) and Edirne (the superb Selimiye Mosque). In front is the hospital-turned museum or Giyasiye Şifahiye. To the right the türbe belonging to the complex, and towering over it ??? something modern.
