The Taş Han (= Stone Inn) was a medium-sized Ottoman caravanserai, built in 1699. The complex had an open yard (20 x 20 m) and some 60 rooms around it, spread over two floors (ground floor + first floor).
At the time this picture was taken, it was in very bad shape. It has been fully restored since (2013) and will house tourist shops as well as a hotel. Its total surface area is almost 1100 m² (ground floor).
