This is the entrance to a medrese that was being restored. It does not belong to the mosque complex, in due course (when restoration has finished and I might take more pictures) it may get a separate sub-gallery. Built by a daughter of Selim II and wife of the admiral Piyale Pasha. It has the standard form of a rectangular porticoed courtyard with cells beyond.
